ABOUT US

Step into the golden age of style with Von Mode Vintage—where everyday elegance meets modern versatility. Our Mid Century Americana pieces are thoughtfully curated and meticulously designed for their quality, sustainability, and enduring charm.

Rooted in history and driven by craftsmanship, my passion for vintage began at an early age after inheriting my grandmother Josephine’s apparel collection from the 1940s through the 1960s. Those pieces sparked a lifelong appreciation for timeless design, quality construction, and the stories garments carry. While I began collecting seriously in my teenage years, that early influence continues to shape every creative decision I make today.

Vintage is not just an aesthetic—it is a way of life. From my 100-year-old home filled with curated objects of the past to cruising through town in “Bettie,” my 1962 Oldsmobile F-85, I strive to preserve and celebrate the elegance of earlier eras in a modern world. Fashion from the 1940s and 1950s remains my greatest inspiration, admired for its refined silhouettes, thoughtful details, and enduring craftsmanship.

Building on this foundation, I am currently designing my own in-house capsule collections, coming soon. Each piece is thoughtfully created to honor vintage techniques and proportions while seamlessly fitting into contemporary wardrobes. These limited collections are an extension of my commitment to quality, sustainability, and timeless style—designed to be worn, cherished, and passed on.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. We proudly volunteer our time and talents at local events centered on fashion and the arts, partnering with organizations that share our commitment to creativity, education, and access. Through runway showcases, styling collaborations, and artistic programming, we actively support fundraising efforts that provide scholarships and critical funding for nonprofit organizations. Giving back allows us to help nurture the next generation of creatives while strengthening the cultural fabric of our community.

We had the honor to be the featured fashion contributor at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum's One Upon a Time: The 1940's historical exhibit and Edith Head Fashion Show Runway Experience in the fall of 2025. Here are two of the lovely models showcasing vintage and reproduction 1940's evening wear from Von Mode Vintage.

We also LOVE attending car shows and supporting local pinup groups. Von Mode Vintage has sponsored numerous pinup contests throughout Central Florida, and Luci never hesitates to accept an invitation to serve as a judge. While Luci typically prefers to work behind the scenes—styling pinups rather than competing herself—she was genuinely surprised when, in her very first competition, she earned 2nd Runner-Up at Miss Rockabillque 2025, wearing a stunning 1950s vintage golden bombshell ensemble.
