Vintage 1950's Sherry Kent Fit and Flare Dress

This nearly perfect pale bubblegum-pink sheer ribbed cotton day dress by Sherry Kent of Dallas is pure sweet-as-sugar vintage delight. Delicate crocheted lace trim dances along the sleeves and bodice, adding just the right touch of romance. A few of the original buttons had gone missing and the remaining pair showed some wear, so we gave this beauty a thoughtful refresh—replacing all of the buttons with vintage (1980s) full-shank plastic buttons in the same dreamy pink hue. For a little extra peace of mind, we even tucked in a hidden spare button at the waistline.
