Vintage 1960s "Bobbie Brooks" Bikini

Make a splash in authentic mid-century style with this charming vintage 1960s Bobbie Brooks Teenie Bikini. Bursting with a vibrant abstract print in playful shades of pink, coral, aqua, black, and cream, this two-piece captures the bold, youthful spirit of the era.  Reconstructed for modern wear, the top has been updated with supportive underwire padding and is accented with a large decorative vintage button at the center for a classic retro touch. The matching bottoms appears to have reinforced seam stitching for added durability.

Label: Vintage Bobbie Brooks

*The garment is vintage and is not a "STANDARD SIZE". Be sure to check the actual measurements for fitting guidance.

TOP MEASUREMENTS: Fabric has tad stretch

Bust: 30 inches (Assume A cup)

Neck straps measure 20 inches in length

BOTTOM MEASUREMENTS: Fabric has tad stretch

Waist: 26 inches (sits low on hips)

Condition: No major blemishes but the garment may show signs of wear due to age. A previous owner modified the top construction by adding under wire bra pads and a large vintage button for visual interest. The neck strap was also reconfigured to accommodate the modifications. The stitching from the modifications are visible (see photos) and should be redone properly. I was planning on tackling a restoration on this piece but decided to focus my attention on other garments. It's still a functional/wearable piece as is.

Wash and Care: Hand wash and spot clean is recommended. Flat lay or hang to dry.
